MASHABLE - Nov 20 - Twitter is offering as much as $1M in free ad credits to 10K businesses to support Small Business Saturday this weekend. It will give away $100 in free credits to each of the first 10K businesses who apply and are eligible for the program in an effort to help these businesses promote their brands on the social network. Small Business Saturday was launched in 2010 in an effort to encourage shoppers to visit independent retailers over Thanksgiving weekend rather than just shopping at chain stores.
