In the same week Google announced that Google Play Movies, TV shows and music were launching on Google TV this month, the Internet giant has posted a sneak peek at what’s to come from the smart TV platform. Her spokesman, Lord Bell, released a statement in which her son and daughter confirmed the reports of her death. "It is with great sadness that Mark and Carol Thatcher announced that their mother Baroness Thatcher died peacefully following a stroke this morning." Facebook Expands Pay-to-Message-Celebs Program to the UK

UK Facebook users wishing to send a personal message to Olympic diver Tom Daley and Salman Rushdie can now do so thanks to an expansion of the social network's pay-to-message-celebs program. The Facebook program, which launched in the U.S. in December, has now been expanded into the UK and 36 other countries, according to The Guardian. Zynga on Wednesday began testing the waters for Internet gambling with the UK-only introduction of ZyngaPlusPoker and ZyngaPlusCasino. The downloadable and web-based versions of Zynga’s real money games for play in the UK is the prelude to the introduction of Facebook- and mobile-based versions of the games, Barry Cottle, Zynga's chief revenue officer and EVP, wrote on the company's blog on Tuesday.
